She is presently signed to New Balance as their top paid high school girls athlete. She went to Long Island Lutheran (LUHI) last year.

Her brother is her biggest inspiration. He is away in the military and he does his best to keep in contact with her. Growing up she was very close to him and was torn when he went away to Germany.
Her competing in the Jordan brand 1v1 tournament. She beat all 15 girls she had to face, which is huge considering most of the girls she played were seniors and Leah is going to the 9th grade! As a result, she leaves at the end of August to go on an all expense paid trip to China sponsored by Jordan brand. This will be her second out of the country trip. She previously went to Japan with her high school team to compete against the best girls in that country.
