What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about volleyball is that it gives me a chance to clear my mind and focus completely on the game. I love the competitiveness, energy, and teamwork that come with playing. Volleyball has taught me the importance of communication, trust, loyalty, and determination. It has also brought some of my closest friends into my life. The teammates I've had and the memories we've created are things I will cherish forever.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My biggest inspiration is my coach, Mr. Harry. He has been a huge part of my volleyball journey and has helped me become the player and leader I am today. He always pushes me to work harder, believe in myself, and never give up. He has taught me the importance of loyalty, discipline, and being there for my team. Harper Murray also inspires me because of her confidence and determination on and off the court.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I think it’s hard to narrow it down to just one. I believe in all the years of knowing her, it’s her tenacity, hard work, and determination to better herself and her teammates. She pushes herself constantly all school year, and summer, to perfect her craft. She has been diligent in joining every conditioning and extracurricular activity she can to make sure she capitalizes on EVERY opportunity afforded to her.
