Leighton’s coaches and teammates inspire her the most because they encourage her to work hard, stay positive, and never give up. She looks up to those who lead by example, supports others, and shows that success comes from dedication, teamwork, and believing in yourself.
One of my proudest moments was watching Leighton get a hit in the 10U World Series in 2023 at only 8 years old. Competing against older athletes on such a big stage and rising to the moment showed their confidence, determination, and love for the game.
