Leila has been a perfectionist since she could walk and talk. Her love for golf stems from a powerful truth; perfection doesn't exist here. No one plays a flawless round. A perfect putt lips out; a drive finds the rough. For a perfectionist, that reality is the ultimate challenge. Every new course is an unpredictable puzzle. Instead of running from it, she embraces the discipline of showing up, pushing through setbacks, and learning that mistakes aren't failures, they are simply part of the game

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Leila's inspiration is the trailblazing women before her, like Nelly Korda, who show what is possible in the sport. However her truest inspiration and mentor is her dad. As a former golf pro who competed on the South Florida tour himself, he shares his deep knowledge of the game. More importantly, as her dedicated coach and caddy, he walks every step of the course by her side, guiding her through every challenge, celebrating her growth, and inspiring her work ethic both on and off the fairway.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Leila’s proudest moment was shooting her first under-par round. For a long time, it was a milestone she dreamed of and talked about, but secretly wondered if she could actually achieve. Watching her break par was unforgettable, she completely lit up and was beaming with hard-earned pride. It wasn't just about the numbers on the scorecard; it was the thrilling proof that her relentless dedication, resilience, and willingness to embrace imperfection were finally paying off!
