What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Leilah loves being in the spotlight, cheering on her teammates, learning new skills and she said seeing all of the routines come together.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Leilah stated that first off God inspires her daily to do her best. Next it’s her parents and coaches who encourages her to be the best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Leilah joined a new gym last year and although she’s been in dance for 7 years she still had some goals to achieve. She joined an elite cheer team and worked hard to get and back handspring and a Ariel in less than 6 months! So proud of her!

Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
