Soccer has also taught her discipline, confidence, and how to remain focused during difficult moments. She values every opportunity to compete, represent her team, and build friendships through the sport she loves.
Letizia is inspired by her coaches, teammates, and family. Her coaches motivate her to work harder and become a smarter, stronger player. Her teammates inspire her through their commitment and teamwork, while her family encourages her to remain focused on her education and athletic goals. Their support reminds her that success requires discipline, humility, and perseverance.
One of my proudest moments was watching Letizia become a team captain and a three-time district champion. I have seen her grow from a young player into a confident leader who supports her teammates and continues working even when the game is difficult. Her commitment to maintaining a 4.28 GPA while competing at a high level makes me especially proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
