At 13, Levi leads with sportsmanship, lifts others up, trains with discipline, and loves football with all his heart.

What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreLevi has played many sports, including soccer, baseball, tennis and track, but football is different for him. He loves every part of the game, playing, watching NFL games, studying videos to improve, and even learning about the equipment and how footballs are made. His passion goes beyond playing; he truly loves learning about the game. His dream is to play in college and one day build a career in the NFL.
Julian Edelman inspires Levi because he proved you don’t have to be over six feet tall to succeed in the NFL. Levi is already 5’10” at 13 and tall for his age, but he knows he may have simply grown early and may not end up much taller. Edelman’s success at 5’10” reminds him that size doesn’t determine how far he can go. Seeing someone he relates to reach that level makes his dream feel possible.
My proudest moments are seeing Levi show true sportsmanship. I believe you can play tough and compete hard while still having empathy and compassion for your opponent. After a hard tackle, he helps the other player up, makes sure he’s okay, and has done this since he was a little kid, and has even gone over after the game to check on him again. I’m proud that no matter how competitive he is, he never forgets the person across from him.
