What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Levi loves that gymnastics is a physical challenge everyday. It's never an easy day in the gym, and therefore it never gets old. He loves that when he accomplishes one skill, there is always a harder skill that he must learn next. He's never done growing, or working hard with gymnastics. His favorite event is Pommel Horse. Pommel Horse makes him feel controlled and like he is floating across the pommel. He faces the challenges of all 6 events with excitement and a positive attitude.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

"My Mom inspires me to keep going. She is my biggest fan. She is an example of what it means to work hard. My teammates also inspire me. They push me, and inspire me with their skills and talent." - Levi

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Levi's 6 Elite year (11yo), was his first year in the USAG governing body. His gymnastics, up to that point, had been through a governing body that allowed flexibility in their routines. That year he had to compete pre-determined routines for the first time, while also competing against other Elite gymnasts. It was challenging. Despite the constant losing, he still got up every morning eager to head into the gym. He went into competitions with belief in himself and gave it everything he had.
