Learn MoreLia loves playing lacrosse with her dad, sister and brother. They are constantly playing in the backyard, running drills, learning new skills and just having fun. She may only be 8, but she already has dreams of being a D1 player and has the drive and determination to get there.
Her dad inspires her. He has been her coach since she was 4 and instilled a love of the sport. She looks up to him as a coach and as her father.
It’s the daily determination that makes me the most proud of Lia. She goes to every practice, plays at home, and even helps her friends and you get brother learn the game. She simply never complains, quits or gives up. She has a pure love for the sport and it makes me proud that she has that drive that is very hard to find.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
