What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Liam has continued to coach me his gma on how curve balls should be thrown. Even though Liam has a speech disability he continues to strive to learn about different curve balls. He’s even gotten me to spend $$ on games to show him how to steps to get what he needs on the mound. Now mind you he does take a break from pitching and does everyday things. Fishing for instant then he got bored went back to throwing. That shows loyalty to the love of his pitching.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

There is no one person who inspired him. Liam is a left and right hand person. Liam at first time at t-ball , I had my doubts. But I still supported him to do better. And then when one coach saw his potential. He blossomed to the young pitcher is today. Still burning the hours and pouring sweat down his forehead.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Liam has made it to two AllStar functions. Even though he fought a good game and came out no champs. He says I’m there to practice mom. If we win then great but if not I went up against the best of age group.
