Liliana’s dad inspires her both on and off the field. She has loved soccer since she began playing at age three. Her dad has coached her and continued learning the game to help develop her skills. His dedication and the special bond they share inspire Liliana to continue growing and loving the sport.
One of my proudest moments was watching Liliana during a championship game. She communicated well, gave her best effort, supported her teammates, and made several attempts to score. Although her team lost and she cried, her reaction showed her passion and genuine emotion. I was proud that she didn’t hide her disappointment and allowed her teammates and coach to comfort her.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
