Learn MoreLily loves skating because it brings together everything she enjoys: friendship, competition, exercise, and performing. She loves being part of her skate club and the close bond she shares with her coaches and teammates, who have become like an extended family. She enjoys the challenge of competition, staying active, and getting dressed up for skating shows. Most of all, skating gives her a community where she feels supported, challenged, and excited to grow.
Lily is inspired by her coaches and Sylvia Hafke, who is part of her skate club and inspires her to pursue excellence in her professional skating career. Her coaches push her to work harder and become better and better. Off the field, she looks up to her older brother, who has skated alongside her for the past two years. His support and dedication inspire her to keep reaching for her goals.
I am most proud of Lily during her 2026 national competition. She experienced a very public and difficult failure, but instead of letting it define her, she continued on, stayed strong, and held her head high. Watching her show resilience, courage, and determination in such a challenging moment made me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
