What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreAt just seven, Lincoln is learning so much more than how to play a game. He loves football, basketball, and trying new sports. Every field and court teaches him leadership, teamwork, confidence, perseverance, and how to be himself—all while having fun. Sports bring communities together, create friendships, and build memories that last a lifetime. At this age, it’s not about the score, it’s about learning, growing, and becoming who he’s meant to be.
What inspires Lincoln on and off the field is his family and the love of sports that runs through us. His mom has been involved in sports from a young age, and he’s surrounded by family who have always loved the game. Sports have taught us leadership, teamwork, friendship, and unity. I hope Lincoln carries those lessons with him for a lifetime, because it’s about so much more than the game.
One of my proudest moments was being part of the Super Bowl in football and then playing basketball with my mom as my coach and winning the championship this past year. I’ve learned that the biggest part of getting better happens at practice. Practice, teamwork, and hard work prepare me for game day and help me become a better player and teammate.
