What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What lincoln loves the most is being a part of the team and thinking of his teammates as family. He loves learning new skills and improving them, whenever he’s playing there’s always a a big smile on his face even if they’re losing he’s always just having fun and loving the game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The people who inspire lincoln the most is his big sister and big brother, they’ve always been his biggest supporters throughout life. They encourage him and help make him strive as a person, he’s always looked up to them. Lincoln’s been watching them play ball his whole life and it encouraged him to play like his older siblings.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment was when Lincoln played pitcher which is a position he’s not familiar with. He practiced, watched videos and even set up targets to improve . He was told he was going to pitch in the tournament and he became quite nervous but with encouragement from his teammates and parents he became more relaxed. In the last inning Lincoln strikes out the third out and gets the team to second place in the tournament! I was so proud of all the hard work he did to achieve his goal.
