LJ is inspired by Coach Nick Saban because of his discipline, leadership, and belief that success comes from hard work, preparation, and doing your job every day. Off the field, he’s inspired by his mom because she works hard, never gives up through challenges, and always encourages him to do his best, be kind, and chase his goals. Those examples have taught him that character and perseverance matter just as much as winning.
As a single mom, watching LJ grow through sports has been one of my proudest experiences. Seeing him put on his jersey, work hard at practice, and never quit—even when things are difficult—shows me he’s developing the kind of character that will take him far in life. His determination, heart, and love for his team make me proud every single day.
