What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My son loves bull riding because it challenges him to be brave, strong, and determined. He loves the adrenaline, the competition, and the feeling of accomplishing something that takes courage and hard work. Every ride teaches him something new and pushes him to become a better athlete. Most of all, he loves the bond with the sport, the excitement of getting on the bull, and the pride he feels when he gives it everything he has.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Lane Frost and J.B. Mauney inspire my son because they represent the heart, courage, and determination it takes to succeed in bull riding. He admires Lane Frost for his fearless spirit, sportsmanship, and the legacy he left in the sport, and he looks up to J.B. Mauney for his toughness, confidence, work ethic, and never-give-up attitude. Their stories remind my son to stay humble, work hard, face challenges head-on, and always give his best every time he gets on a bull.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I am beyond proud of my son for continuing to pursue his passion for bull riding even after getting injured. It takes incredible courage, determination, and strength to face setbacks and still find the heart to keep going. Watching him get back up, work through the challenges, and continue chasing his dreams reminds me how strong and resilient he truly is. No matter the outcome, I will always be proud of the young man he is becoming and the dedication he shows every time he steps into the arena.
