What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about basketball is that I can always challenge myself to get better. I love competing, making big plays, and playing with my teammates. I also love the feeling I get when I’m on the court because I can forget about everything else and just focus on the game. Basketball pushes me to work harder, never give up, and believe in myself. I want to keep getting better and see how far I can take it.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My dad inspires me the most in basketball. He has always encouraged me to play, work hard, and never give up when something is hard. I look up to him a lot, and I always want to make him proud. He reminds me that basketball isn't just about scoring or winning. It's about being a good teammate, working hard, and always trying to get better

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me proudest is seeing how happy basketball makes him.I don't care about how many points he scores or how many games he wins. I care about seeing him work hard, have fun, and become more confident in himself. I love watching him light up when he talks about basketball or gets excited about a game. Seeing him challenge himself, practice, and keep going even when something is hard makes me so proud. I just want him to be happy and know that I will always be in his corner cheering him on
