What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreLondyn loves the challenge of gymnastics—the feeling of learning something she once thought was impossible and finally getting it. She loves competing, performing for an audience, and being part of her team. Most of all, she loves seeing herself grow stronger and more confident with every practice. Gymnastics gives her a place to challenge herself, set goals, celebrate progress, and discover just how capable she truly is.
Londyn’s biggest inspiration is her mom. She has watched me work hard to raise our family while encouraging her to chase her dreams, no matter the obstacles. My perseverance has taught her that difficult circumstances don’t have to determine her future. Her coaches and teammates also inspire her by pushing her to believe in herself, work harder, and celebrate the accomplishments of others.
One of my proudest moments was watching Londyn earn 1st Place All-Around in her age group, then go on to take 1st Place overall in her entire division. Seeing her hard work, determination, and hours of training come together in that moment was unforgettable. I was incredibly proud—not just because she won, but because she proved to herself that dedication and perseverance can turn big dreams into achievements
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
