The thing Luca loves the most about playing his sport is the connections he makes with not only his teammates but also his competitors. Luca loves seeing the improvement in everyone in his sport and never fails to make the day better for everyone
The person who inspires Luca the most is his father. Luca’s father is also his coach allowing for this to be a large bonding time. Luca’s father has shown and taught Luca how to be a better person on and off the lanes. Showing him that no matter what is going on in your personal life you can always try to make others have a better day. Luca’s father has suffered from mental health issues but does not let that stop him from striving and doing what he loves, making Luca believe in himself more
One thing in Luca’s athletic journey that has made me the proudest is showing all the younger kids that even though he is from a smaller town you can still strive for greatness and achieve things people only dream of. This all started by Luca becoming the first bowler from Chatham to ever achieve a scholarship for bowling.
