The reason I love running is because of how freeing it feels. Running for me is a way to relax while also bettering myself and others around me.
My brother inspires me not only to become a better runner but also a better person. He has been there for me throughout the highs and lows and will always encourage me to chase greatness and stop at nothing.
Lucan was prepared and excited to race at the State XC Championships last fall but a week earlier had an autoimmune episode (PFAPA). Although he was exhausted and not well, he did not want to miss the race or let down his teammates. He still ran a PR and helped his team to finish 6th place in division 1. He never gives up and always stays positive.
