Baseball has taught him discipline, confidence, and the importance of working hard even when things don’t go his way. He especially loves being on the field with his teammates, supporting each other, and seeing how all the practice and hard work pays off during a game.
His family, coaches, and teammates inspire him to keep working hard and becoming a better athlete and person. He looks up to players who stay humble, disciplined, and committed no matter how talented they are. He has learned that success isn’t only about being the best player—it’s about putting in the work, respecting others, and never giving up.
One of my proudest moments has been watching his hard work and dedication be recognized. After years of playing baseball and constantly working to improve, he was nominated for Athlete of the Year and finished the season with the best batting average in his league. More than the statistics, I’m proud of the discipline, determination, and love for the game that helped him get there.
