Luke is inspired by skaters like Nathan Chen and Ilia Malinin that show that figure skating can be fun and masculine, even though it’s a female dominated sport.
Luke battles his nervousness to go out during every competition and give it his all. Most recently we traveled from Chicago to Boston where he won first place at his level in a national competition. I’m proudest of how he interacts and shows good sportsmanship whether he wins or loses.
