What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He plays tackle in football and loves making tackles and pancakes. With basketball, he loves blocking and getting the rebounds.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ty Johnson from the Buffalo Bills. Ty’s hometown is only 30 minutes from him. He sees that you can live in a small town and you put the effort and commitment in, you could be in the NFL someday.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When someone nominated him to a big tournament in Virginia Beach. Out of all the kids on the east coast, he was able to be on the 4th grade team. We all were so excited for him!!!
