Lynkin always wants to be better than the play he made before. He always strives for greatness, & even as a child he helps coach tball kids.
Thank you for supporting Lynkin in this competition. Your participation made a huge impact for the Why Not You Foundation and their mission to empower change in the world, one individual at a time and one child at a time.
What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreHe loves being able to be apart of a team and learn every sport he gets involved in. He loves making new friends to play the game with, and competing against. He enjoys having family and friends watch him enjoy doing what he loves and being able to share that with them!
Besides his dad, some hard working athletes inspire Lynkin to be who he is on and off the field. Russel Wilson, TJ Watt, and Cody Rhodes are some athletes who have inspired Lynkin. Russel Wilson was the first NFL athlete that Lynkin was able to meet, and it made him love the game of football even more. It was a short interaction, but to Lynkin it meant everything and more.
Lynkin is the youngest player on his travel baseball team, and his growth on his first year playing has made me the most proud. He is always hustling out to his position, getting the ball, or running bases. You never have to tell him to hustle because he’s already doing it. He is learning to take loses as a learning opportunity to only get better.
