My mom inspires me the most. First, she played basketball in college, and I know how much work that was. She is also a single mom who provides everything I need. My mom takes me to every practice, recital, and competition. She also makes sure that I have every costume and shoe that I need. My mom shows up for me.
There are so many reasons that I am proud of MacKenna. The one that stands out the most to me is from this past year. A teammate broke her arm and MacKenna had to step into this other dancer's role. MacKenna had to learn two new routines and spent countless extra hours at the dance studio. She worked hard to learn new choreography and keep working on the other dances she was already in. MacKenna had to push herself and this built up her confidence. I am proud of her perseverance.
