What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Maddox loves the challenge of baseball—the chance to compete, improve, and help his team succeed. He loves being on the field with his teammates, making big plays, and knowing that every practice and every game is another opportunity to get better. More than anything, he simply loves the game and gives everything he has every time he steps on the field.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Maddox is inspired by the people who push him to be better—his family, coaches, and teammates. He watches, listens, and learns from those around him, but he also has an incredible drive that comes from within. He wants to become the best player and teammate he can be, and he understands that success is earned through hard work, discipline, humility, and never giving up.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moments that make me proudest aren’t just the big hits, great plays, or wins—they’re the moments when things don’t go his way and he keeps going. Watching Maddox handle adversity, encourage his teammates, and come back ready to work even harder shows me the kind of athlete and young man he’s becoming. His determination, heart, and love for the game make me proud every single time he takes the field.
