What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Baseball is Maddux's everything. What he loves most is the constant action from throwing in the house, yard, or field with neighbors and parents. He loves teaching younger kids the game and showing patience as they learn. On the field, he loves competing with determination in every play. In the dugout, he loves cheering on his teammates. Most of all, he loves that baseball never stops from hitting practice to makeshift games, it fills his day with pure joy.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Maddux is inspired by baseball players at all levels. He loves watching videos to study techniques and movements, then mimics what he learns during practice. His favorite player is Pete Crow-Armstrong, known for exceptional defense, speed, and work ethic. PCA's hustle, positive attitude, and team-first mentality resonate with Maddux. By modeling himself after players who show skill and character, Maddux fuels his passion and drives his growth as a player.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me proudest is watching Maddux grow and develop as both a player and a leader. Seeing his passion evolve from simply loving to throw the ball to patiently teaching younger kids has been incredible. His transformation in the dugout from focused player to vocal teammate who lifts everyone's spirits. Most of all, watching him dedicate himself to constant improvement through studying players like Pete Crow-Armstrong proves he's becoming the player he dreams of being.
