What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Maisley brings energy, joy, and creativity to everything she does. She loves the art of sport, the excitement of movement, and being part of a team. Cheer taught her that every role matters and that a pyramid is only successful when each athlete does their part. She values trust, teamwork, and encouraging others. Whether she is cheering, dancing to her favorite song, or learning something new, Maisley embraces every challenge and always strives to grow, improve, and help her team shine.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

If I had to pick one person, it would be my mom. I know it might sound original, but she is truly the person who keeps me going and supports me through everything. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. She has helped me become so much more confident and has made me a better athlete and a better person. I’m so grateful for everything she does for me, and I honestly don’t know where I’d be without her.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It is difficult to choose just one moment when I have been most proud of Maisley. I’ve loved watching her make amazing plays, but I’m just as proud when she picks herself up after a mistake and cheers on her teammates. If I had to choose one moment, it would be when she first competed a solo. Watching her step onto that stage with confidence, strength, and skill made me incredibly proud to be her mom.
