What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves the competition, but even more, he loves the process of becoming better. Whether on the track or football field, Major pushes himself to work harder, learn from every experience, and never give up. He thrives on setting goals, challenging himself, and seeing his hard work turn into progress. For him, sports are about discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and becoming the best version of himself.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Major is inspired by his four siblings, who are all successful athletes. They challenge him to work harder and remind him that success comes from dedication. He also looks up to Patrick Mahomes, his favorite quarterback, because of his confidence, leadership, work ethic, and ability to perform under pressure. Major dreams of one day becoming an NFL player, and these role models inspire him to keep working toward that goal.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

We are most proud of Major’s first year in track. As a first-year athlete, he qualified for the AAU Junior Olympic Games in the 8U 800m, earned a third-place medal, and ran a personal-best 2:39.10. According to Athletic.net, his performance ranked him 9th overall nationally in the 8U division. Watching his dedication and perseverance turn into this achievement was an incredibly proud moment for our family and a testament to his commitment to excellence.
