What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing my sport is competing and being part of a team. I love the feeling of working hard, getting better, and seeing that hard work show up in a game. Sports challenge me to stay focused, be a good teammate, and never give up when things get tough. I also love making my family and teammates proud. Every time I step on the court or field, I get another chance to learn, compete, and become a better athlete and person.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My dad inspires me the most because he always pushes me to be my best, even when I don’t feel like I can do it. He always says “be a leader!” He works with me, helps me learn from my mistakes, and reminds me that getting better takes hard work. He teaches me that being a great athlete is not just about winning but it’s about discipline, character, being a good teammate, and never giving up. I know he believes in me, and that makes me want to work even harder and make him proud. He motivates me.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments happened this summer at IMG Academy. We were playing 5-on-5, and the game was coming down to the final seconds. My teammate passed me the ball, and I looked at the clock—only two seconds left! I knew I had to take the shot. I put up the three-pointer, and it went in for the game winner! I was proud because I stayed calm under pressure and trusted all the work I had put in. It reminded me to always be ready because sometimes you only get two seconds to make a big moment
