What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love softball because every inning is a lesson for life off the field. Making an error or striking out teaches me resilience—how to shake it off, learn from the mistake, and adjust for the next pitch. But when I make a game-changing play on defense or drive the ball deep on offense, it’s a high like no other. Believing in myself is proof that all my hard work pays off, giving me the confidence to know I can handle whatever life throws at me next.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom is my biggest inspiration on and off the field because she’s always my loudest cheerleader in the stands. Softball has plenty of tough moments, but whenever I'm at a low point or coming off a bad play, I know I can count on her to help me shake it off. She’s there celebrating with me when things go right and holding me up when they don't. Having her constant support makes me want to work harder and stay humble, both in the game and in life.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I can’t pinpoint just one exact moment, but my proudest accomplishment is never giving up. When I haven’t made multiple teams, instead of quitting I believe in myself and keep pushing forward. I knew I’d find the right team to help me pursue my journey of playing softball and push me toward my goal of hopefully playing at the collegiate level. Trusting in myself proves that I can overcome setbacks and forward momentum is what I’m most proud of.
