The whole youth sports culture has been fascinating. Teammates, coaches and opponents all bring a different learning experience to the game. Each respectively has pushed Makenzie to train, grind, and mimic her way through hours of practices and tournament play.
The 1st OVA season was rough. After a long stretch of defeats and coming so close so many times, finally winning the first medal was surreal. All the work and perseverance paid off and sparked new life into the journey!
