Maks is inspired by Canadian diver Molly Carlson. He admires her incredible skill, courage and determination, as well as the positive energy she brings to the sport. Molly inspires him to be fearless, work hard and keep challenging himself. Her journey shows him that success is not only about medals, but also about resilience, confidence and loving what you do
One of my proudest moments was watching Maks finish 4th in Canada at the National Championships. I was proud not only of the result, but of everything it represented—the countless hours of training, courage to keep attempting difficult dives, and determination to improve. Seeing him compete confidently among Canada’s best young divers showed me how far his hard work and perseverance have taken him
