What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my child loves most about playing sports is the joy of competing, learning new skills, and being part of a team. Sports challenge my child to work hard, stay disciplined, and never give up, even when things get difficult. Most of all, my child loves the friendships, the excitement of competition, and the feeling of accomplishing something through dedication and teamwork.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On and off the field, my child is inspired by coaches, family, and teammates who model hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The coach encourages my child to stay disciplined, keep improving, and never give up, even when challenges arise. What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment in my son’s athletic journey that made me the proudest was watching him push through a difficult challenge and refuse to give up. Seeing his determination, discipline, and commitment reminded me that winning isn’t always about the scoreboard—it’s about having the courage to keep going when things get tough. I was proud not only of what he accomplished as an athlete, but of the character, confidence, and perseverance he showed along the way. That moment showed me the young man he is.
