What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Watching her play has never been about the wins. It's the way she leads, lifts up her teammates, and gives everything she have every time she steps on the field or ice. We love how sport has shaped her character, her resilience, and her heart. Every early morning, long drive, and sacrifice has been worth seeing her become the person she is.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

What inspires us most is who she is when no one is watching. On the field, she competes with heart, resilience, and determination. Off the field, she leads with kindness, encourages others, and gives back by coaching younger athletes. Sports have taught her discipline, humility, and perseverance, and seeing those qualities shape the person she is becoming is what makes us the proudest.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment that makes us the proudest was during a provincial championship shootout. Many people were nervous because she hadn't faced many shootouts before. We looked at her, and she smiled and said, "Everyone needs to relax, I've got this." She went out with complete confidence and delivered. It wasn't just the result that made us proud, it was her belief in herself, her composure under pressure, and the courage she showed when everything was on the line.
