What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing football and running track is getting to compete, have fun, and be with my teammates. I love scoring touchdowns, making big plays, and getting better every time I practice. I also love running track because I like being fast and racing against other kids. When I’m on the field or the track, I feel happy and proud. I want to keep working hard, making my family proud, and becoming the best athlete I can be.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My biggest inspiration is my big cousin Damon Miles. He taught me to never give up, stay focused, work hard, and do good in school so I can succeed in sports and life. Saquon Barkley from the Philadelphia Eagles also inspires me because he is fast, strong, and determined. They both remind me to work hard, stay focused, and never quit on my dreams.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was last season when I got a pick-six. My team had zero points, and I caught an interception and ran it back for a touchdown! I also scored another touchdown. We still lost, but I was proud because I helped put points on the board. It taught me to never give up, stay focused, and always give my best.
