Off the field, he is inspired by his family, who encourage him to believe in himself, be a good friend and teammate, and remember that his character matters just as much as winning.
One of the my proudest moments was when I saw Marcus tackle a smaller guy pretty aggressively, and turned around and helped him up and asked him, are you OK? He plays hard and he loves hard too, he really just wants to have fun and play fair.
