He is one of the shortest players on his team, but that has never stopped him from playing with confidence and determination. He knows his size does not define his ability, and he loves proving that hard work and heart can take you far.
2. His family inspires him most, especially the people who support him and remind him to keep going when things get difficult. As his mom, I’m proud to see how seriously he takes his goals. He works hard even when nobody is watching, and that dedication motivates him to keep pushing himself.
One of the moments that makes me proudest is seeing how dedicated he is even when no one is watching. I wake up at 6 in the morning for work and have seen him outside in the backyard hooping by himself. Seeing him put in that work without being told reminds me that his love for basketball comes from within.
