What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My Daughter loves being a part of a team and watching her teammates grow each season. She loves to push herself even when she doesn’t feel so confident. She is a selfless young lady.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Her father inspires her everyday. He works 2 jobs and never gives up on his goals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My daughter tore her ACL and meniscus in May 2026 running steeple track meet, my proudest moment was when she woke from anesthesia and said “I did it mom, I love you” she was so afraid that she would wake up from surgery. She is only 14 year old and going through this and seeing her make all her milestones to get to sports is inspiring!

Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
