Learn MoreShe loves the community. She gets to meet and interact with new people any time she joins a team. Mariah says that they make the experience better. That they end up becoming more than teammates. They’re friends she can talk to and laugh with. To ask for help or advice when she needs it. She knows that they can always be there for each other even if they get distant between seasons; and when they reunite, it’s like they never left.
Her faith and family inspires her. During track season, especially her Dad. She knows that she may not be the best cheerleader, or not even the best runner. However, receiving support, motivation, and constant encouragement makes her want to keep going and consistently pushes her to thrive and improve. When she is facing a rough practice or another tough trial, she knows that God is with her, and that makes her perseverance all the more worth it.
