He loves the pressure, the challenge, and having the opportunity to lead his teammates on and off the field. He says Football has taught him discipline, resilience, and never to give up—even when things don’t go as planned .
His family inspires him the most. He says their sacrifices, support, and belief in me push me to work harder, stay humble, and become the best athlete and person I can be.
What makes me proudest is watching him go from a small town in Georgia to Gwinnett County, where the competition is fierce and the talent is incredible. He’s had to earn every opportunity, sometimes playing behind others, but he never let that discourage him. He kept working, stayed committed, and beat the odds. Now, he has worked his way to the top and is leading a 7A football team as its starting quarterback. Watching his growth, resilience, and determination has been one of my greatest joys.
