Mariyanna loves the excitement of playing flag football, being part of a team, making plays, pulling flags, scoring, and challenging herself to get better. Most of all, she loves having fun with her teammates and making her family proud!
She is inspired by her mom, her coaches, her teammates, and all the people who support her both on and off the field. They constantly encourage her to work hard, believe in herself, never give up, and always be a great teammate.I never imagined that she would play flag football, but joining the Lady Legacy Raiders became the beginning of something truly special for her. It was her first flag football team, and having great coaches who believed in her, pushed her, and helped her her grow.
One moment in Mariyanna’s athletic journey that makes me the most proud is watching her step onto the field and give everything she has, no matter how challenging the game may be. Seeing her grow from where she started to the confident, determined athlete she is today has been such a beautiful experience. I’m proud of the way she continues to learn, listen to her coaches, work on her skills, and push herself to become better.
