What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Marley loves the excitement of playing basketball, but what he enjoys most is being part of a team. He loves encouraging his teammates, making great passes, playing defense, and celebrating when everyone gets a chance to contribute. Basketball gives Marley an opportunity to challenge himself, build confidence, and have fun while doing something he truly loves. Whether he scores the basket or helps a teammate score, he is happiest when his team is working together and enjoying the game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Marley is inspired most by his sisters. He has a beautiful big sister with special needs and two younger twin sisters who absolutely adore him and look up to him. Being their big brother motivates Marley to go hard every day, on and off the court. He wants to make them proud, set a strong example, and show them the importance of working hard, being kind, and never giving up.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was a game when Marley’s team was down 6–0 and hadn’t scored all game. Marley was on the court crying, but he refused to quit. Through the tears, he attacked the basket, scored two tough buckets, and earned trips to the foul line. He finished with all 7 of his team’s points. They lost 8–7, but Marley left everything on that court—blood, sweat, and tears. That day showed me his heart, resilience, and determination matter more than any win.
