What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Marli loves most about playing sports is being part of a team and having the second family. She enjoys the challenge of pushing herself to improve every day and learning from both wins and losses. It has taught her confidence, discipline, and resilience. As a setter, she loves being able to help my teammates succeed and knowing that every play starts with me making good decisions for the team. There’s nothing better than seeing hard work pay off.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Marli's family inspires her every day because they support her, believe in her, and encourage her to chase her goals. Her coaches and teammates inspire her by challenging her to become a better player and a better person.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me the proudest of Marli isn’t the awards she has won or the games she has played—it’s the person she is becoming. She leads with kindness, treats everyone with respect, and always puts her teammates before herself. No matter the outcome of a game, she continues to work hard, stays humble, and looks for ways to improve. She faces challenges with determination, never gives up, and always shows resilience when things don’t go her way.
