Marqui loves the brotherhood and teamwork the most, because working together to win a hard game builds a strong bond with his teammates. He also loves the rush of game day, hearing the crowd cheer, and the energy on the field. Additionally, he loves the challenge of practice and the feeling of accomplishment when a tough play finally works.
His family and his coaches inspire him most on and off the field because of their encouragement, love and support on and off the field. He has a strong support system that is dedicated to seeing him succeed at what he loves to do. Also, making sure that he stays on top of his grades because that’s most important.
There was a time where he had a minor injury from the game, he had to sit out, and his team was losing. He walked up and down the sideline until he was able to get back in the game and scored two touchdowns to lead his team to a victory!
