What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He has always loved sports. He especially loves being in the boxing ring, where he can be himself, stay focused, push his limits, and work hard every day. He loves the discipline, the competition, and the feeling of giving everything he has when he steps into the ring. He also loves being on the basketball court, where he can show his skills, vision, and passion for the game. He enjoys being part of a team, competing, playing. Whether he is in the ring or on the court.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Us his family, me his mom, who raised him as a single mother, and his sister. Seeing how hard me his mom worked for them motivates him to keep pushing himself. But honestly, he is also his own biggest inspiration. In the ring and on the basketball court, he works hard every day because he wants to make his family proud, have a better life, and become the best version of himself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I’m proud of everything he does. As his mom, seeing him train every day, even on weekends, makes me so proud. I see how hard he works in the ring and on the basketball court, and how he never gives up. Watching his dedication and discipline makes me feel like all my hard work and sacrifices as a mom are paying off. Seeing him chase his dreams and become the person he wants to be means everything to me.
