Although volleyball is a huge part of her life. God, family and academic's come first. Without the discipline she gets from those 3 things, volleyball would be an afterthought. I believe it is important to be a well rounded person and sports is a big part of that. Her family inspires her the most. To be a good role model for her 4 younger siblings and to make the rest of her family proud. But as far as a player that has inspired her, it is Elena Scott. The former Louisville Cardinal.
Everything she does makes her family proud, but the one thing that sticks out to me was at her recent 14u state tournament, we were short a couple outside hitters, so instead of just playing setter, she played the whole rotation around and all 5'1 of her had many kills to help her team have their best performance of the season. It was very fun and impressive to watch. Also, her constant upbeat attitude that kept all of her teammates in a good mind set even when things weren't going well.
