Her older sister inspires her the most. She encouraged Masiella to stay active by introducing her to volleyball and showing her the value of being part of a team. Through her example, she has inspired Masiella to always strive to be the best version of herself while remaining humble, putting the team first, and helping create a positive culture. She has taught her that true success comes from hard work, supporting others, and leading with integrity both on and off the court.
Watching her realize how capable she is as both an athlete and a person has made me the proudest. She has worked incredibly hard, built lasting friendships, and grown into a confident teammate and leader. Along the way, she has learned to celebrate victories with humility, accept defeat with grace, and use every experience as motivation to improve. Seeing her growth on and off the court has been the greatest rewards.
