Learn MoreWhat I love most about playing sports is winning, but even more than that, I love winning with my teammates. There’s nothing better than grinding together, pushing each other to get better, and then seeing all that hard work actually pay off. The competition, and memories I’ve made with my teammates are what make playing sports so special.
My mom inspires me more than anyone. I’ve watched her go through a really hard season in her life, and through all of it, she kept showing up for our family and for the things that mattered to her. She taught me that being strong doesn’t mean life is always easy. It means you keep going, even when it’s hard. Watching her fight through the tough days has taught me to work hard, never give up, and always show up, no matter what life throws at me.
The moment I’m most proud of is when my hard work caught the attention of my teammates. Even though I was young, several senior football players believed in me enough to go to our coach and ask that I be given an opportunity on varsity. They saw something in me before I had the chance to prove myself. Their belief pushed me to work even harder, earn their trust, and make the most of the opportunity It taught me that leadership isn’t about age, but about how you show up work, and earn the respect
