What he loves most about sports is the challenge of pushing himself beyond what he thought he could do. He thrives on the competition, the adrenaline, and the opportunity to make a difference for his team. Whether it’s lacrosse, basketball, or football, he loves the teamwork, the friendships, and the feeling of giving everything he has while sharing the excitement and success with his teammates.
His biggest inspiration, on and off the field, is his dad. Since he was little, his dad has been by his side coaching him, teaching him, encouraging him, and reminding him to always work hard and believe in himself. He looks up to his dad not only for the athlete and coach he is, but for the example he sets as a father. His dad has taught him that true success is measured by effort, character, and how you treat others.
The moment that makes me proudest isn’t one specific win or big play, it’s seeing him get back up after a tough loss or a mistake and choose to keep going. Watching him learn that success isn’t about being perfect, but about giving his best, supporting his teammates, and never giving up, is what makes my heart proud. Those moments show me the athlete and more importantly, the person he is becoming.
